How much is my company’s data worth to AI companies?
There is no price list. Here is what has been reported, and how to get a range for your own records.
The short answer
Korra (korra.io) does not publish a price list, and nobody else does either, but the reported deals give a picture. Forbes reported that SimpleClosure processed nearly 100 deals for shut-down startups in a year, with payouts ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 per company. micro1’s own program page lists tiers of $100k+, $500k+ and $1M+. Google paid $10 million at auction for Spirit Airlines’ internal business data. Korra gives you a rough range once it sees what you have.
What has been reported
Shut-down startups: Forbes reported in April 2026 that SimpleClosure had processed nearly 100 deals in the past year, with payouts ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 per company, as Gizmodo summarised it.
A direct buyer’s tiers: micro1’s Company Data Partnerships page lists $100k+ for qualified enterprise partnerships, $500k+ for large-scale datasets or ongoing participation across teams, and $1M+ for highly unique, proprietary data. These are its advertised tiers, not completed deals.
One large company: in August 2026 Google won a bankruptcy auction for Spirit Airlines’ internal business data for $10 million, according to SiliconANGLE. The data reportedly included 100 million company emails and 500 million Microsoft Teams chats.
What moves the number
Fit: do the records show the kind of work a buyer is training for? Completeness: does each case carry the request, the steps and the result? History: how many years, and how many complete cases?
Rights: can you license it without open questions? Terms: is the licence exclusive, and which uses are allowed? Work: who prepares the records, and who pays for that?
How to get a range for your records
Korra gives you a rough range once it sees what you have. Start with the data value calculator, then describe your records in about 5 minutes.
On Korra, approved buyers make offers on your listing, so you see what the market will pay before you agree to anything.
How it works on Korra
You describe your records in about 5 minutes. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is connected.
Korra turns the description into a listing card with names, emails, phone numbers and towns removed, and reads it before it is published. Approved buyers can see the card and make offers.
You see every offer and approve the one you want, or none. The licence is between you and the buyer. You pay Korra nothing; the buyer pays Korra’s fee.
Korra does not take, open, clean or deliver your records. You and the buyer agree what is shared, how and when.
Questions owners ask
Is there a price per message or per email?
Not in any public price list. Buyers price a set of records by how well it fits their task, how complete it is, and the licence terms.
Does Korra guarantee a sale?
No. Korra lists your description for approved buyers. There is no guaranteed offer or price.
Do I pay Korra to find out?
No. Listing is free and the seller pays nothing. The buyer pays Korra’s fee.
